Founded by University of Nevada, Reno graduate, Wolf Pack and San Francisco sports fanatic, and Washoe County school teacher Roger Diedrichsen, Pizza Barn has been Fallon’s neighborhood pizza joint since 1978.

Made with hand-crafted dough, locally-sourced meats from Heck’s Meats, and fresh toppings from Lattin and Workman farms, Pizza Barn’s menu earned accolades from three generations of Fallon pizza eaters. The menu also boasts one-of-a-kind items like “Hotsacks” and “Barn Wedges” and features a fresh salad bar inside the restaurant.

But the Diedrichsens aren’t just skilled pizza makers; they’re community advocates. The family supports 4-H clubs, created a “Read for Pizza” campaign with local schools, and provides an informal community center for youth clubs and organizations.
Today, Pizza Barn remains the family affair it was in the beginning. Owner Roger Diedrichsen can be seen behind the register or slinging dough most days of the week, along with his daughter Jordan. The business’ commitment to its customers and its community remains as strong as ever.
