Here’s how the passport works:

From July 1, 2013 – June 30, 2014 you can use the passport. Each new month means a new page of stamps to collect, a chance to win monthly prizes and an entry into the grand prize drawing.  However, you may continue to collect stamps on any one monthly page until it is full and submit it at any time before June 30, 2014 for an entry into the grand prize drawing.

Collect your stamps at events and businesses around town. Find out what events and businesses are participating by visiting our business tab.

  • Eat: When you dine at our participating restaurants, you can collect “eat” stamps. You need 5 stamps per monthly page. Spend $7 or above and receive your stamp. Limit 2 stamps per visit.
  • Play: When you support entertainment destinations such as the Fallon Movie Theatre, Fallon Golf Course, a local casino, or a special event you can collect “play” stamps. You need 5 stamps per monthly page.  Spend $15 or above to receive a stamp. Limit 2 stamps per visit.
  • Shop: Making purchases at local stores earns you “shop” stamps. You need 10 stamps per monthly page.  Spend $15 or above to receive a stamp. Limit 2 stamps per visit.
  • Community Events: Earn a free stamp that can substitute for any other required “play,” “shop” or “eat” stamp by attending a community event that will be identified here or promoted in the media as a “Live Local” event.  There is no cost to attend a Live Local event.   Attending a free “Live Local” event and/or obtaining a “community” stamp are not required to complete the monthly entry sheet or enter the grand prize drawing.
  • Volunteer: The City of Fallon encourages participants to volunteer in the community which strengthens the community by benefitting local organizations, events and agencies.  However, volunteering and/or obtaining a “volunteer” stamp are not required to complete the monthly entry sheet or enter the grand prize drawing.

Tear out the completed page and drop it by the Fallon Convention Center or put a postage stamp on it and drop it in the mail.  Each completed monthly page submitted by the 10th day of the next month is eligible to be drawn for monthly prizes.  Completed monthly pages not submitted by the 10th day of the next month, but before June 30, 2014, are eligible to be drawn for the grand prize.

In the third week in July 2014, we will throw a big bash for all participants and draw—from every correctly completed passport page—one lucky winner to win the grand prize: a brand new 2013 Toyota Corolla LE!
